Credit Cards as Vending Machine's Friends

By 2009, all the credit card specialists expect a new wonder. A new credit card offer! What's that? Very soon vending machine admirers will be able to get more use and convenience out of the automatic selling process. As for contemporary vending machines, the cash payment system is used.

Since we have more and more credit card offers every day, more and more consumers are applying for cards, many specialists expect a significant shift from cash system to credit card payment system.

This shift may cause some substantial changes in the people's credit spending habits. But, these changes are not expected to be more of a positive character. Why? There are some reasons.

Most of us are already used to low rate card offers and cash back credit cards - we charge almost everything on our way with them - despite the prices. Some of us even manage to apply for a credit card so that they can charge a cup of tea!

It is the convenience of plastic cards that makes people use them almost all the time and everywhere. As a result, credit card is used as the main payment tool. That's why those who have cards don't use vending machines that much.

When vending machines will accept credit cards, that will, certainly, boost the sales. The negative point is that it will (most likely) spoil consumers' spending habits. They'll start using vending machines more. It is more advantageous for credit card companies and banks. Consumers are placed in less favorable situation, though. Something needs to be taken into consideration, huh?

Why is it that this new service is going to be good for the banks? They will, undoubtedly, increase their revenues. Still, let us talk a bit more about the effects for the customers. For those who are already facing such a sad thing as credit card debt and still keep making lots of purchases, the new vending machine system can cause troubles. It can even lead you to bankruptcy.

Using your credit card is a kind of addiction. Certainly, we are not speaking about cardholders that can actually get hold of their habits. There are people who use credit cards cautiously. Even if they want something badly, they will manage their temptations. Most likely, such customers will prefer secured credit cards.

It is just that fewer people can manage their feelings. The majority gets tempted. As a result, the majority go beyond the credit limit much further than they can actually catch up with. It is a psychological thing. Do not think it is not something that will happen to you! Credit card management largely depends on your personal responsibility.

I think it is a bad idea to use credit cards for vending machines. Just think, you will be charged interests for every Coke you will buy with a card. This will lead to enormous debts.

It is great that we will be free from cash! Just imagine, there will be no need to carry all this cash, only a little plastic!
