We are not credit card issuers or a credit bureau to know if you have more credit cards or not. We don't have any kind of access to your personal information and can't look through your credit report. We advise you to turn to the credit bureau or to the bank directly and clear up these moments. You can read the information about the credit bureaus and find their contact information (through their official sites) at the site of our partners. |

Would Washington Mutual Visa be a good company to do a balance transfer with? |
|
Answer:
As it appears from your inquiry you want to obtain one of balance transfer cards. Thus you're welcome to choose any of our credit cards with balance transfer, corresponding to your credit score and your personal demands. Many of applicable credit cards provide 0% APR intro period up to 12-15 months, some of them require no balance transfer fee, for instance, Discover platinum card, Blue American Express card and some of CitiBank cards. Thus, these are cards, which are considered to be the best tools for balance transfer operations. Washington Mutual group (WaMu) offers traditional consumer and commercial banking services, deposit accounts, mortgages and other loans, including, as far as we're concerned, pre-paid credit cards' issue, namely, Visa Classic Check Card, which has nothing to do with credit cards and balance transfer operation. Unfortunately we do not feature any of Washington Mutual credit cards. If you want to learn more about Washington Mutual, please, access their official site. |

What are the differences between :
Introductory APR: 4.99%
Introductory Period: Until
Paid Off
Ongoing APR: 12.24%
Default APR: 21.24% |
|
Answer:
As it appears from your inquiry, you want to accept one of our low rate card offers with fixed APR for life, or to put it differently, until your credit card is paid off. Many people choose fixed rate cards, where APR doesn't change often. Even the APR on a 'fixed rate' credit card can change over time. However, the credit card company must tell you before increasing the fixed APR. To sum up, your intro APR will be valid until you pay your card off. Once you've paid off your card, there is no necessity to cancel it! And in this case, you'll face ongoing APR. Sometimes if a card issuer notices inactivity on your card, they might try to lure you back with another low-rate offer. To keep you as a customer your bank may offer you another 'intro period' later on, and lower your APR. Default APR means usual APR increasing in case you're late in making payments. Make your payments regularly, and your knowledge about default APT will remain theoretical. |

How do I know what credit cards I will be approved for before I apply? I am thinking about openning up another credit card but I don't want to lower my credit score by applying for a lot of cards. Is there a way I can determine what credit card companies will exstend me credit before I apply? For example with
1. Credit scores from 400-500 these companies will exstend you credit.
2. Credit scores from 500-600 will exstend you credit.
3. Credit scores from 600-700 will exstend you credit
4. Credit score over 700 + will exstend you credit.
All of this is assuming you have a checking, savings account and a full time job making $50,000 a year etc..
Thanks for your help! |

Answer:
The choice of credit cards depends on your credit score, which is calculated taking into account your payment history, amounts owed, length of credit history, new credit, and types of credit used. It's clear that the most important factor is your record of paying your bills on time. If you aren't aware of your credit score and apply for a credit card, not complying with your credit rating, you take risk of lowering your credit score because of credit card company refusal you're likely to get. Therefore the first thing you're recommended to do is to get your credit score from nationwide credit bureaus: Experian, TransUnion, and Equifax. Also, you can order your credit score through the official online source established for this purpose. Once you've known your credit score you can regard respective online bank credit card applications and apply for a credit card affordable. |

|
Answer:
The creditors define credit limit according to your credit abilities. Credit limit depends on the terms of your credit card and may be changed according to your credit history. If you possess excellent or good score, you are welcome to our best credit cards section, read the terms and conditions very attentively, compare all requirements and limits and choose the card fitting to your needs and interests. Be careful before applying for the card with a high limit because if you are not able to maintain your credit line, it will damage your score. But if you pay off your balance on time, it can help you. |
