i need to apply for a card to pay for books for college today. first question is can i use the card today and second question is the school would need someone to call the scholl and verify the use of the card. is that posible?
Answer:
If you apply for a credit card today, you can't unfortunately use it today, as it take s time for the bank to consider your application and send you an approval and after that the card. So, you will have to wait, depending on the bank, your credit history and some other facts, for a week or two for the card to be delivered to you.
If rules of your school imply use of credit cards for paying for books, no one is supposed to call (unless this will be some specific type of credit card). For details you should better ask your school administration.

pre paid cridit card
Answer:
Actually, pre-paid cards have nothing to do with credit cards, as you pre-pay money to be deposited on your account, after which you will be able to use it. In some cases, though, it is possible to ask the bank to open a credit line on this card, but it's not a common practice.
If you probably meant secured credit cards (some people see no difference between them), you can look at them at the special section of our site. THe amount of credit available with secured credit cards is determined by the amount of bank account you have previously deposited in this bank.

I want to transfer my balance from another card that has an introductory 0% apr, but before I apply for this card I want to make sure that I iwll be approved for enough money to transfer my entire balance.
Answer:
I'm afraid you can't learn what will be your credit limit for sure, as this amount depends on your credit rating and type of credit card you are going to apply for. If you apply for a credit card with a better credit history than the previous ones, you can count on a high credit limit. But you should better think over what you have at the moment, if the sum of money you are going to transfer seems too large, it's better not to risk.
You can also call the bank's customer service and ask for a consultation, but it can so happen that they refuse to answer this question. Anyway, it's worth calling the bank.

i have a tax id number can i use it for a credit card
Answer:
When you apply for a credit card, you give a personal guarantee for paying off the credit card debt. Thus, you give your social security number and the bank makes an inquiry to your credit report and analyzes your credit history. As you use a credit card, the information about it is reflected in your personal credit history.
If you apply for a business credit card to establish or build your business credit history, you also indicate your SSN in the applications form, as this business credit will also be guaranteed by your personal credit history. If you pay off your business credit cards accurately for some 5 years, you will build a good business credit history which will enable you to give your tax ID in your applications, as this ID will refer the bank to your business credit report that in this case will be valuable for consideration.

I need to establish redit, are there any cards out there with minimal fees.
Answer:
If you have no credit and want to establish one, you should be ready to the fact that the first credit card of yours will be far from beneficial. When the bank gives a credit card to the customer, it needs to cover the credit related risks. As you have no credit history, the bank can do nothing but charge high fees and APR. As you build your credit, the fees and charges of your credit cards will be lower and lower, gradually.
So, to make the first step, you should apply for a secured credit card, that requires a deposit to be made in the bank issuer of the credit card. The deposit will determine the credit limit, so you will use the credit card, pay the fees, but the deposit will secure your credit.

What do you know about the company Rate Relief Solution (location Vancouver, BC, Canada)? This company is suppose to be able to reduce your credit card rates for a cost of $398. Is this company for real or is this a scam?
Answer:
First of all, we do not possess or provide any information on debt consolidation companies. There different companies of this type, but once you turn to these people you should be sure your credit score will be lowered due to this negative record and they will charge money for their services. Debt assistance or consolidation services are usually required when you can't in any way pay off your credit bills, thus being about to be taken to court.
Think over your credit situation, make calculations and figure out how much you will have to spend to pay everything off. To solve your credit problems, you should probably tighten your belt and clear your debts instead of spending extra money to obtain undesired problems in future.

which credit card is best for rebuilding credit ?
Answer:
Generally, the best credit card for your credit is the one that can't damage it - that is, the best card to boost your credit is a credit card for your credit score. After you receive your credit report and learn your credit history and score, you should look through the credit cards for your credit and choose the one you like best of all.
Since you want to rebuild your credit, you probably have bad credit history, so you are welcome to get acquainted with our bad credit cards and apply online for one of them.

I dont have a social security card I only have a tax ID to pay taxes can I aply for acredit card
Answer:
The matter is that you can't apply or be approved for a credit card without having social security number. If you are permanent resident of the USA or a citizen, you are supposed to have ssn, but if you don't, apply for it online or in any other way (use internet search to find the contact information).
Generally, you can use your tax ID when applying for a business credit card provided your business credit history is good. It means you should have good personal credit and be accurate in payments for business credit cards for 5 years to be able to use your tax ID for applications.

which creditcard is best for starting credit
Answer:
If you have no credit history and want to start one, you have two types of credit cards to choose from.
You can ask a person with good credit to become your co-signer, so he or she will apply for a good credit card and after approval you can be added as a co-borrower. You will have two different credit cards, but the responsibility for the credit will be on both of you.
If you want to start your credit independently, you can apply for a secured credit card, which implies collateral in the form of a bank deposit, so the amount of the deposit will determine the credit limit you will be provided with. As you pay the credit card off on time and in full, your credit score will grow so that you will be able to apply for an unsecured credit card.

I'd rather give my information over the phone than on line for my id has been stolen before on line.
Answer:
As far as identity theft is concerned, you can face it independent of the way you apply for a credit card and give your personal information. There are cases of phishing over the phone, when by mistake you call the number very similar to the phone number of the bank, and you dictate your address, social security number and other items to somebody who can use them to send you pre-approvals or apply for credit cards in your name.
If you use such reliable Internet sites as ours, which use specific technologies for protecting the customers' personal information, you can feel safe when filling out credit card applications online, as the risk of fraud is excluded.
