How do I apply for a credt card, when I have no credit. I have a cell phone bill in my name. |
|
Answer:
You need to apply for credit cards that require your credit rating. If you have no credit, browse through the offers specifically designed for borrowers with no credit. If you are a student, you have all the chances to apply for one of student credit cards that generally come with quite good features. In either way, try secured credit offers. Although they require a money deposit, you may rest assured that you will be approved. Plus, your spending limit will be set in accordance with the amount of your deposit. So, it's within your grasp to get a card with the spending limit that suits your payment needs. |

What is a fair credit score? |
|
Answer:
A fair score generally ranges from 620 to 650 score points. This score means that you have established credit but it's not good yet. Fair credit deals are designed for those borrowers who want to improve their score and qualify for the cards with lower rates. These deals are worth looking at as they come with valuable features like low fees and moderate interest rates. It's much easier to improve your credit when carrying such a card. |

I have applied for every credit card out there and i get denied. I dont have a bank account or a debit card or any other credit cards. I had made mistakes in my past and have a couple things on my credit. I paid them off they just havent been removed from report yet. I am trying to build credit but how am i supposed to do that if no one will give me a chance and trust me.? |
|
Answer:
You need to realize that lenders also face risks when approving holders with limited credit. The best way to rebuild your credit is to start with secured cards. Although they require a minimum deposit, it's not that huge and it's your money anyway. Lenders use it as a backup of your new card. You'll get this money back when your account is closed. If you want to apply for unsecured cards, look through the deals for no or limited credit. This way, you have more chances to find the card you will be approved for. |

I have credit cards that i would like to pay off on balance transfer. We have had alot of medical lately,so would like to pay off some of our cards to cut cost of paying for credit cards. |
|
Answer:
If you have good credit, feel free to choose among best balance transfer cards that are designed specifically for those who want to pay off current balance on better terms. But before applying for a new card, check your credit score. Most balance transfers require good or excellent score. Compare the features carefully, make calculations if necessary. If your debt is not that massive, you'd better choose among the cards providing 0% interest rates. But make sure you can pay off the whole debt until the interest-free period expires. |

how can i obtain a fair credit card to pay off some debts and to reestablish my credit history after filing a one time chapter 12 bankruptcy and having numerous judgements entered against me? |
|
Answer:
If you have received a discharge, you can consider some credit offers. But be careful, to start reestablishing your credit after bankruptcy may be quite difficult, as most lenders approve solvent borrowers. And if you want to apply for a credit card, you should prove your creditworthiness. Consider secured credit offers. They imply lower risk for lenders compared with unsecured cards and you are likely to be approved. Plus, your spending limit will be set in accordance with the amount of your deposit, so you can determine the amount of your lending limit. Look though secured credit deals and choose the one that meets your requirements. |

Can I get an unsecured credit card without paying a lot in fees if I have bad credit? ( |
|
Answer:
If you want to avoid paying much in fees and interest, you need to be a good money manager. If you look through the cards that require your credit history, you will see that they come either with high fees or with high interest. If you pay your balances in full each month, you can avoid paying interest. It means that high interest rates will be of no great importance for you. This way, you can review credit offers for limited credit that come either with low or even no annual fee to get most benefits. |

how can I figure my credit limit? |
|
Answer:
When applying for a new credit card, you can figure out only the approximate amount of your lending limit. Some companies provide this information and you can see the range of credit limits, but no one can say for sure what your actual spending limit will be. You will know this only when your application has been approved. Besides, much depends on your credit history. The higher your credit score, the higher credit limit you will get. |
