my credit score is 630 is good or poor |
|
Answer:
A credit score is a statistical summary of the information contained in a consumer's credit report. The credit score represents the answer from a mathematical formula that assigns numerical values to the information in a credit report. 630 FICO points stand for fair (average) credit history. Among banks that offer cards for this type of history are New Millennium bank, Orchard and others. |

what does unsecured card mean |
|
Answer:
Unsecured cards are credit cards that are not secured by the deposit. Customers qualify based on credit history, financial strength and earnings potential, compared to secured cards, which need collateral for approval. The amount of security deposit usually determines the credit limit for a secured card. These cards are designed for people with no or poor credit who are trying to build their credit history. |

I HAVE NO CREDIT CARDS.WHICH BANK MIGHT START ME WITH A UNSECURED CREDIT CARD.I HAVE BEEN ON MY JOB FOR 4YRS,I MAKE 34000 A YEAR. |
|
Answer:
If you have no credit history, you can still apply for a credit card. Applying for the right card is a good chance to start building your credit from scratch. The bank will probably give you a small credit limit and watch how you spend and pay off your debts. All the payment info will be sent to major credit bureaus. If you prove to be responsible, they may raise your credit limit in several months. Making payments on time is reflected in your credit report. So take a start, apply for your credit card, and pay on time to prove that you are a trustworthy customer. |

i just turned 18 and i was wondering what would be a good credit cardto start out with? preferably a low apr % |
|
Answer:
In your case you should start building your credit history with no credit card. Banks provide such credit offers to help people to establish their credit rating. You probably won't get low APR. The banks risk to get not payed, so they will give you rather small credit limit and higher rates. If you are a responsible cardholder and pay off your bills on time, you will get better terms and rates in several months. |

ihave bad credit so i am trying to make it good
|
|
Answer:
You can improve your bad credit by applying for secured credit cards or unsecured card offers for bad credit history. Today many credit issuers offer such cards. But don't expect to get a good credit limit or perfect rates. These cards are only for establishing or rebuilding a credit. If you prove to be a responsible cardholder by paying your bills on time in about six months, you may expect to get better terms. |

i would like to get instant credit |
|
Answer:
Instant approval credit card implies an instant decision about credit card issuance. It can be both for good and bad credit history with different terms. There are instant approval credit cards that you can use right after approval. The bank can show you your credit card number and expiration date, and you can shop online or by phone with it. The example of such card is the Blue from American Express. This card is for good or excellent credit history only. It offers no annual fee, 0% APR on purchases for 15 months. |

I would like to apply online and get a quick reply for a credit card available here in southern iRELAND |
|
Answer:
You can't apply for the US bank credit card if you are not a resident (at least temporal). Although, you don't necessarily have to be a citizen, but you need to have a Social Security Number. You can be a citizen, a legal alien, have work or student visa. Also, this website offers UK, Canadian and Belgium credit card deals. Unfortunately, we don't offer plastics for Southern Ireland. You can get them in the country of your residency. |

I am 85 years old. Retired. I have never had a credit card in my life. I have always used bank check or cash in pocket. Bank balance varies from $2,000 to $10,000. Depending on current purchases.
I am advised that I should get a credit card for my own safety. What I am looking for is a card with a cash withdrawal of about $3,000 . I realize that I have no credit score and I am not interested in building one.
At my age I am just looking for safety. I have NO debts. Home , Car, everything has been paid for W/ cash. ( interest rate ) no problem. If a card like this is not available, that\'s OK.

Answer:
Thank you for your question. Considering that you are looking just for safety and have no credit history the best option for you would be a secured credit card. To get one you will need to make a bank deposit that will serve as collateral for your credit account. This collateral is needed to show the bank that you have funds to pay your credit card bills. Your credit limit will depend on the amount of money you deposit. The bigger your deposit is the more you can withdraw from your credit card. A secured credit card can be used for all kinds of transactions, just like any other credit card. Here are the deals our experts recommend. Secured Visa® Credit Card issued by Applied Bank. This card has fixed low interest rate and a credit limit of up to $5,000. What's even more important with this card you have 0% fraud liability. That means that if there has been an unauthorized transaction from your account you won't be responsible for it. Black Diamond Visa® issued by Millennium Bank. With this card you can withdraw cash at over 740,000 ATMs. This card has extended warranty protection. You receive a $10,000 travel insurance as a bonus. In case of an emergency you can always get an emergency cash transfer. The credit limit can be up to $10,000. If you do not wish to make a bank deposit you can apply for an unsecured credit card for those with no credit history. You have good chances to be approved if you have no debts, no default payments or bankruptcies in the past 10 years and no criminal record. We recommend Standard Platinum issued by Capital One. It has no Annual fee, reasonable APR and 0% APR on purchases till December, 2008. Compare the offers and apply for the one that suits you best. |

how can I figure my credit limit? |
|
Answer:
When applying for a new credit card, you can figure out only the approximate amount of your lending limit. Some companies provide this information and you can see the range of credit limits, but no one can say for sure what your actual spending limit will be. You will know this only when your application has been approved. Besides, much depends on your credit history. The higher your credit score, the higher credit limit you will get. |
