You dream of visiting every corner of the world including crazy New York, charming Paris, exotic Hawaii, as well as wet London? Or maybe you travel a lot because you are a businessman and you just need to go on abroad trips a lot. It might be your job or just your lifestyle but isn't it a dream of any traveler to go everywhere for free? I bet, yes.
If you feel you are such a "travel" person, you shouldn't ignore frequent flyer credit cards. Modern credit card companies offer all kinds of frequent flyer credit card offers and it makes it pretty hard to choose the one that would suit you. Nevertheless, I can give you some tips on how to find the right plastic for you.
1. Make a decision: with or without an annual fee card you wish. Some cardholders just can't stand the cards with these fees and, thus, they choose no annual fee cards. So, it came as a surprise to me when a friend of mine Laura told me that she has got an airline credit card with an annual fee!
I thought almost everybody hates those annual fees that seem to be taken away for nothing. She found that to be comfortable. It was later that I have found that annual fees help to gather more and more miles faster. As a result, Laura can enjoy more flights! If you use your credit card quite a lot, a card with an annual fee is a better choice for you. If you are a businessperson, this very annual fee is tax deductable, which is pretty good.
2. It is wise to use the right annual percentage rate. Then, if you carry a monthly balance, it is wise to choose lowest APR cards. Keep in mind that most credit card companies offer low introductory rate. To be sure about that - thoroughly read terms and condition of the card. Terms and conditions are necessary to read not only to learn about your miles expiration but also to be able to shop around for the best offer.
3. By getting frequent flyer cards without any present spending limits you will enable yourself to double the points when shopping for clothes, grocery, gas, etc. If you will be able to use your plastic wisely, you will get an opportunity to get a free trip once a year, at least. My sister uses her card a lot; as a result he gets 2-3 free trips every year. Not bad, huh?
4. Always check all the bonuses that your plastic has got. Some point rewards cards provide with points for hotel stays, gas discounts, some - certificated that can be used for flights-to-be.
If you take all these points into consideration and won't be lazy about shopping process you will get the frequent flyer credit card that suits your lifestyle the most. Just do your best to make the right choice and enjoy your credit card to the fullest.
