Credit Card Offers Help You "Scratch-and-Win"?

More and more services can be paid with the help of a credit card. Credit card offers are ideal almost for anything! But there are some things that can't be bought with a plastic. What are they? Lottery tickets are one of them. In some states it is prohibited to purchase lottery tickets with credit cards. Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Texas are among such states - it is just prohibited by the law. But in some of the states it is considered to be OK.

It may seem weird but some lottery players do wonder if they can buy tickets with credits. Do they really think that their credit card can help a dream to become a millionaire comes true all of a sudden? Some people think that buying lottery tickets with plastics is somewhat similar to using a credit card for gambling. It all leads to sad stories when people can't control themselves. They spend much more money that they can actually afford.

Opponents of paying with plastics put their arguments forward: the whole process of such purchases too often becomes an obsession. Almost everybody is eager to get "free money" - it all entices us and forces to the silly actions. Consumers credit cards offers are intended to help but not to destroy the financial life of a person.

Debit cards can be used to purchase the lottery tickets. You know that the function of credit cards and debit cards are pretty similar that is why retailers often accept debit cards because one cannot spend more than he has with it. But credit cards are so much similar to debit ones that retailers often prefer not to accept any cards at all so as to avoid any possible problems.

I have already mentioned that some states allow purchasing lottery tickets with a plastic. In those states retailers have to pay special fees for the tickets purchased with credit cards.

Moreover, some credit card companies such as MasterCard and Visa also charge extra processing fees for this kind of payments.

Assuming that your state provides an opportunity to buy lottery staff with a credit card and even if you have got one of the best credit cards it doesn't mean that you will never face any problems in financial matter.

There happened an almost unbelievable situation in White City, Oregon, in 2005. A woman bought a happy winning lottery ticket but it was bought by her with a stolen plastic! It was her ex-boyfriend father's plastic - the dad was dead by that time for more than 3 years. The winning amounted to a million dollars but the woman who got that ticket was sentenced to jail for one month because she was using a card that wasn't actually hers. Certainly, now she insists that a ticket was bought with cash money! The whole story is really weird - isn't it?

In some states one can make a fortune with a help of credit card offers and lottery tickets but one needs to be very cautious. It is essential to use a credit card wisely since you are very likely not only to win lots of money but also to lose even more!
